A path is best walked with someone who has been on it.
Ancient Path Biblical Coaching walks alongside men in the seasons that ask the most of them — integrity work, the healing of old wounds, the ministry wilderness, and the crossings between endings and beginnings.
This is for the man who is done pretending.
You can carry it well in public and still know that something underneath is unwalked. That is not a failure of faith. It is the beginning of the path.
We do not coach men toward a tidier version of the same performance — we walk with them into what is true, and stay until it can be spoken out loud.
The Paths.
Five paths for five seasons. A man can walk one, or move between them — they feed each other. None requires another first.
The Integrity Path
For the man rebuilding trust after it broke — with God, with his wife, with himself.
Walk this path →The Mending Path
For old wounds from boyhood that still set the terms of the present.
Walk this path →The Pastor’s Path
For the shepherd in the wilderness — tired, exposed, and unsure who shepherds him.
Walk this path →The Shepherd Path
For the man being formed to walk with others — and, in time, to lead the work.
Walk this path →How the Work Is Carried.
Four forms. Paths and forms feed each other — a man does not need any one of them before he can begin another.
One-on-One Coaching
Spiritual direction, calling and vocation, marriage and fatherhood, and integration.
Story Work
Narrative-focused trauma care (NFTC): reading your own story honestly, in the company of trained men.
Liminal Space Work
Walking the crossing — the in-between — with intention rather than drift.
Confessional Communities
Small groups of men where shame is dismantled by the experience of being known.
Relationship is what changes us.Being known is how we grow.Together we overcome.
This is the work we’re committed to — and the path we’ll walk with you.
Story → Forge → Testimony.
Our foundational lens is narrative-focused trauma care from the Allender Center. We begin with the story a man is actually living, walk into the forge where it is tested and reshaped, and stay until it becomes testimony — something he can stand on and speak. This is the trajectory underneath every path and every form.
A 12-week cohort for men
The Ancient Path Course.
A guided twelve-week cohort for men ready to do the work in the company of others. It is one door into this practice — not a gate you must pass through first. Men come to it from coaching, from Story Work, from a crossing — and men go on to other paths from it.
Explore the CourseWalked, not managed.
This work is held by trained men — NFTC certification, confessional-community formation, and a vetting standard for everyone who leads. What you bring here is held in confidence. Our standards.
The first step is a conversation
Every path begins the same way — by walking up and asking.
No application to clear, no level to reach first. Tell us where you are. We’ll tell you, honestly, whether and how we can walk with you.
Begin a Conversation“Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.”
